So, every once in a while, I do get a cravin for some soft, plump delicious gnocchi. It's not something I have been able to find pre-made very cheaply or accessibly, or anything that is instant from the box (yea that's right, that's how I roll!) So I actually attempted some real cooking last night. I found a recipe online and got to work. It took me 2 hours!
The result was not terrible! It probably wouldn't win any awards or meet the standards of a real Italian cook, but Jen and my dad really liked it and he usually hates whatever I make (especially if it isn't bathed in sugar and butter!)
Braulio on the other hand, ate one bite, said "this tastes funny," and decided he wasn't so hungry after all ) :<
So, yea I was proud of myself for cooking like an Italian, that's all.

I personally don't like gnocchi, but I am sure yours was delicious!!! I wish we were there to try it.
I loved gnocchi until I got pregers then hated it. I cant cook, but when I try it never works out.
yay for online recipes! i'm slowly building up my cooking repetiore as well. pita bread has been my fave for a while, because it only has like 6 ingredients and cooks in 4 minutes! try again, i bet you'll be winning awards in no time!
