Yes it's true that American Idol Auditions are coming to our very own Salt Lake City this year, and of course Aubrey is trying to get me to audition with her (probably because it will make her look that much better!) Anyway, I'm trying to pick a song, either the one that will sound the least crappy or the one that will be the most memorable, I haven't decided which. These are the 6 songs so far.
Business of Misery - Paramore
Independance Day -Ani Difranco
Somedays -Regina Spektor
Halleluja -in the stlye of Regina Spektor
Napoleon - Ani Difranco (pay attention to the lovely irony in the lyrics, but warning***there are explicit lyrics in this one)
Poor Little Rich Boy - Regina Spektor (I like this one because I could tap out the percussion, but if I get to the end I'll have to figure out what to do about all the naughty words at the end ** I recommend you stop the song near the end once she says "you're so !#$* young" because she just keeps saying it till the song is over, also I was at this exact concert BTW and it was AMAZING!)
Feel free to make suggestions if you feel I am overlooking a song that you think I should sing. Also, let me know if you want to hear me do a specific one or 2 and I will try and upload a video of me singing it.
Also feel free to advise me against humiliating my self in front of multiple, possibly dozens of people not to mention on film that will eventually end up in a dumpster somewhere.
