Ivan Island '08

This past weekend was our 4th annual trip to Ivan Island in the Uintas. It was exciting to have first timers Karina, Justin, Dre and Ivan's dad Bob. Dave graced us with another year
of his presence as well. (Robbie I missed you so much in this trip!!)








We hiked in 3 miles under a full moon with big 'ol backpacks. (my shoulders are aching again just thinking about them)
















































There was some leisurely rafting ad some of the more complicated type. (On the other side of Ivan's make-shift tent there are 2 more people in the tent. Notice how close his hid regions are to sinking)

I caught a fish! I actually forgot I was fishing and 3 hours later, after the sun went down Ivan reminded me to out away the pole, and there waiting for me at the end of the line was this lovely surprise!













I also perfected the art of open-fire popcorn popping!

















The guys had already done their big cliff jumping the day before. I was too chicken to participate in that this year.









So we finished off our last morning with some good healthy mini cliff jumping.
