Funny Story

It's silly story time again!

Okay, so when I was about 13 or 14 I didn't understand the concept of a courtesy wave. My mom and I were driving down the street and this "cute guy" waved at me. I blushed and smiled at him. A few days later another guy did the same thing, he didn't smile but he wave and I smiled and waved back and stared as he drove around the corner. A few days later we were driving and a girl waved at us, and this time I turned to my mom and asked her, do you know that girl who just waved at us? That's when she explained to me the concept of a courtesy wave, when you're driving and let someone in, they often wave, kind of a thank you sign. Boy did I feel dumb.

that makes me grin! when i was 19, i lived in salt lake for a year to go to u of u. my favorite place to eat was the baglery, and one time when i paid with a card, the "cute boy" behind the counter handed me what i thought was a flower. i turned bright red when i realized in was really a pen with a plastic flower attached to keep it from being taken by accident.

Your mom must have been a pretty nice driver to get all those "courtesy waves." :D
