The Big Trip

I have procrastinated publicly announcing our plans for the winter for 2 reasons;
1. People will think I am crazy (but don't they already? {; )
2. There is always a substantial chance that we won't make it and I'll feel dumb.

The Plan
We are getting ready to drive (not thats not a typo) to Nicaragua and possibly as far as Panama.

The Vehicle
We are driving my dad's motorhome which I will post pictures of soon. Now it is a huge super awesome motorhome but let me clarify that I don't mean awesome looking. As far as the outside goes, the uglier the safer down there.


Right now we are in the process of installing a diesel engine which we will then convert to run on vegetable oil (by we I don't by any means mean me by the way).


So I am in the process of getting rid of/storing almost everything I own.


Some of the things we are planning bringing on the trip includes;

A golf kart

A motorcycle

A boat like the one pictured here (it folds up into a giant duffel bag)

My laptop and external hard drive with about 200 movies on it


We are leaving in nov. We're shooting for early nov but it will probably end up being later in nov with all "we" have left to do. If we haven't left by the beginning of Dec then I give up, I'm flying out of this cold weather and going somewhere, anywhere where it's warm!
