hair

I was sick of having boring hair so went a little blonde and got it shagged up. It's kind of a funny story, I've been getting my hair cut at Dallas Roberts academy since Marin (who is still the best stylist in the whole world and it's hard to survive without her!) went to school there. I keep going back in spite of the fact that occasionally it gets pretty scary, because I want to support the students, but mostly because it's CHEAP!

Well I suspected I was in trouble the minute my stylest walked up with a scarf pinned on her head covering her hair (if they your stylist doesn't do her own hair you know your in trouble) She was cute and awkward and giggly and kept saying "oh I'm probably the worst at that" whenever I would suggest something.

Fortunately the coloring is supervised and probably not to easy to mess up, but next was the cut.
Well to be honest I started to pray to God "Please let this not be a disaser. I don't mean to be vain but walking around with a bad haircut is very unpleasant, I would know, I've been coming here for a while now."

Well, my prayers were answered when the stylist had her supervisor come check her progress after a few minutes and the supervisor ended up doing the entire cut. The whole time the stylist kept saying "wow, that's awsome, I'll have to practice that on my dummy" Thank you God for the supervisor, sincerely.

And the good news is, I ran into a student I know and can noe request her for subsequent visits. Yay for cheap haircuts that don't suck!!!!!
