So we went camping last weekend (first camping of the year!) and then we took a tour of the Lehman cave in Nevada.
The cave was really cool, not at all what I expected.
Also, while we were camping there were beautiful cacti in bloom all over and these crazy caterpillar nests in all the bushes. It was a nice little nature break.

Holy crap that's beautiful! We'll have to check them out when we get home.
Awhile ago Justin and I made a pact to stop at any cave we travel past. We of course related it to videogame terms, by saying we get "xp" (experience) for doing so (like in the games). We've done pretty well so far, but ever since we got to Mexico, it's been impossible! Every 5 meters there is another gruta or cenote... we finally just had to start passing them :( Also, it'd be nice to visit a cave, that didn't feel like a sauna. The humidity is crazy down here!!
You're looking cute! I want to rub your belly :) I'm glad to see you guys camping.
K
how fun - you are one adventurous pregnant momma! way to go!
i love the blossoms on those cacti, they're gorgeous!
Chrissy, that is funny, I was reading my national geographic today and there was an article on caves, and I started looking up caves in Utah, and ran into the lehman caves, and thought it would be a cool place to visit. It looks awesome. there are no nature-type things out here. It sucks.
