This book was really good. It is a fictional story based on the women in the family of Jacob, son of Isaac (who was almost sacrificed by his father Abraham) in the Bible. I really enjoyed being taken back to the bible times, to me it was an intriguing trip into the past. The beliefs and way of life for women back then are so different and strange in contrast with life today. The characters were really brought to life for me. If the old testament was written like this I think I would pick up my bible more often!
