This is me before the epidural


The epidural was such an awful experience for me. I HATED it, and not because my legs went numb, I didn't care so much about that. It just felt so scary and invasive and unnatural to have something jammed in your spine an it just brought to surface all the feelings I had about having to get a C section in the first place. I started bawling and didn't stop for 2 hours until after the baby was in my arms. I think all my crying freaked out the staff a little, they kept asking if was okay. Just leave me alone and let me cry about it, heh.
