In general I don't like sugar substitutes. They leave a bad taste in my mouth and sometimes give me stomach aches, plus they creep me out. There is a new one, however, called Stevia. It's all natural, comes from leaves of a plan, and zero calorie. Although it doesn't taste exactly like sugar (what substitute does?), I prefer the taste much better than any of the other substitutes I've tried. (Of course I haven't had sugar in 3 weeks so anything resembling sugar tastes a lot better to me right now!)
(But don't forge to still stay hydrated and drink plenty of water; dehydration slows down your metabolism!)
