Today Max got his very first Hung Bao, or Lucky Money from Grand-
ma Kirk.
In china the color red symbolizes good luck, that's why kids receive red envelopes from their relatives each Chinese New Year with "lucky" money inside.
*Max is very blessed in the Grandparent department. Not only does he have more grandparents than any kid I know, but he has the BEST grandparents a baby could ask for. This kid is going to be spoiled rotten. Max has one Chinese grandparent, one Argentine grandparent, one Nicaraguan grandparent, several Utahn grandparents, one grandparent who speaks German and one grandparent who is native Idahoan. Eight grandparents in total!
