Well, I really had no idea what kind of book this was until I began reading it. It's actually a parable of sorts and the moral of the story involves finding your own "personal legend" and following your dreams and all that. It is a cute story and I like the moral. It was an easy read with a few deep thoughts to chew on if you want to. I would say it could be motivational but it didn't blow me away or anything. Maybe you have to be in a contemplative, introspective mood to get the most out the book.
