I'm home

Well, here I am back in Utah. It feels so good to be with Ivan again. That was definitely the longest we've been apart.

Things are moving a little slower than planned so it looks like we are going to be around for up to 2 weeks.

I was able to spend time with and get pictures with a few more old friends:

The beautiful Christina Bruns

And my fun hilarious Italian friend Giovanni

Giovanni and I met while I was nannying in Chicago and one of the first things he said to me was "I'll go to your church if you go to mine." Well, he became a regular at the the Buffalo Grove singles ward and I fell in love with his church which is a non-denominational christian church called Christ Church Lake Forest. It's huge and white and beautiful. I still love to attend CCLF any time I get the chance.

The service I attended last week had a performance by this awesome singer who would belt notes out until his whole face turned red. It was pretty cool.

Its awesome that you were able to see some of your old friends!! I always enjoying going to nondenominational churches too. They have a different way of worshiping, that is very cool. In a lot of ways I enjoy the more upbeat services.
