I don't know what has gotten into me, but I have been pretty obsessed with cooking lately
I made a chocolate cake with chocolate and peanut butter chips and a chocolate glaze with white chocolate drizzles with. It was easy and turned out fabulous!
Then Wendee wanted one for her birthday that was chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, so I used a similar recipe and made a white chocolate butterfly for the top.
I was pretty excited to pull off this sweet, spicy Thai coconut soup. It's one that I tried at a restaurant and challenged myself to try even if I am happy with the results, I'm making it again soon.
I also did fresh spring rolls (not pictured here) which I am definitely going to have to practice working with rice paper before I master these.
Ivan loves Gnocchi, and although I had made them before, in the last year we had only eaten store-bought kind so we decided to make a gnocchi production line one night and pump out about 5 lbs of Gnocchi (half with wheat flour!). Then bagged and froze them for a quick dinner plan.
A few nights later we tried them with a fabulous lemon basil sauce.
It was a success!
Last night I decided to try these cinnamon rolls. They turned out lovely (I'm going to be honest, I've had sugar every day this month, more updates on that soon!)
I also put this peanut sauce on tofu one night, yummy, easy, quick. Ivan even liked it.
I actually spend hours on allrecipes.com and recipezaar.com collecting recipes I want to try. It's a nice feeling at the end of the day to come home and create something in my kitchen and I'm lucky to have a wonderful husband who helps with the dishes!

I know, and it makes ME want to cook now too. I can attest to the goodness of most of these items by the way. I've enjoyed your new obsession. :D
Do you want to move in - free rent with the exchange of feeding us???
