Pizza Party!

I guess since I'm starting my cleanse tomorrow I need to write my Pizza post tonight so I'm not thinking about pizza later!









We had a fabulous pajamas and pizza party for mothers day.

I made 3 kinds of dough, white, (half)wheat and (half)spelt (spelt was yummy but eat it up quick it doesn't keep in the fridge as well) if you use this recipe, keep in mind that it rises a lot on the oven so roll it pretty thin if you want it regular, and make sure you cook it for 8-10 minutes before you add the toppings then put it back in till the cheese is bubbly.


We had alfredo sauce (from the jar) and red sauce (1 large can tomato sauce, 1 can tomato paste, italian seasoning to taste)

Every one brought their favorite toppings. Then we each made pizza (big enough to share) It was so fun and SO yummy!

Toppings included;
Cheddar cheese
Mozzerella cheese
Parmesan cheese
Feta Cheese

Chicken
Italian sausage
Regular sausage
Canadian bacon
Peperoni

Spinach
Bell peppers
Green onions
Artichoke hearts
Olives
Mush rooms
Pineapple
Pinenuts

I think my favorite was the Chicken Alfredo pizza;
Alfredo sauce sprinkled with Italian seasoning
Chicken (cubed and cooked with garlic and Italian seasoning)
Parmesan cheese
Fresh spinach
Pine nuts
Mushrooms
Onions
Green bell peppers
Mozzarella cheese

SOOOO yummy!!

Max ate his share of it too, he officially a pizza lover.

And as goes the eternal rule of pizza, if you want the toppings to stay on, put the cheese on last!
