It's true! This kid loves his mama and I revel in it. I wouldn't say I never take this sweet boy for granted, when he's making my life... interesting. But I spend a lot of time appreciating that he's still a baby and not embarrassed to be seen with me in fact, when he meets a new friend he excitedly points me out to them telling them "mama, mama" like he's showing off a prize. He doesn't call me lame when I sing and dance and act silly, he is thoroughly entertained by my antics. He doesn't refuse my affection, he loves snuggles and kisses and being held. Oh what a joy to be loved like a child loves his mama! I LOVE BEING HIS MAMA! Max is truly the love of my life! I thank God every day for this child.
I know it gets harder as they get older, and they will not always appreciate us or need us the way they do now, so hopefully when he is a teenager and takes me for granted, and ignores everything I say and stays out too late or wrecks my car or whatever, I can remember how happy I am right now, and the way he looks when I get home, how his whole face lights up as he yells "mom!" and jumps into my arms <3

Super cute post! Being a mom has got to be the most rewarding choice ever! Max is getting so big. I can't believe he is already talking.
You need more videos of him adoring you so you can pull them up in his teenage years and remind him. "SEE!!! YOU LOVE ME!!! YOU DO!" haha
