Use the force Christina

Something happened to me, and I wanted to share it.  Let me start by saying that I am a believer by nature.  Not in humans and their innate goodness, no on the contrary I am extremely skeptical and untrusting of people,  I have been one long enough to know what we are capable of.  On the other hand, I am a huge believer in the body's miraculous abilities. Abilities to heal, to sense things our brain can't, to connect with people and things in on a different level and to do things that science could never explain.

So here is my story.  I was at the dentist, hesitant to get X-rays because I am pregnant and ultra super freaked out by anything radiation related. The dental assistant assured me that it is perfectly safe, so I consented. I said a little prayer in my head for protection and as she took the first 2 photos they popped up on the screen above my head.  Then an idea occurred to me.  I would concentrate all my energy to create a protective shield around my head just in case there was anything harmful.  So I closed my eyes and breathed in through my crown chokra, and as I exhaled I imagined a protective shield of energy between my face and the X-ray machine.  While I was doing this I also opened my mouth and bit on the thingy as instructed by the dental assistant.  When I opened my eyes I saw that not one but both of the photos she took while I was doing that were very blurry!! Too blurry to use and she had to do them again.  I didn't "block" anymore X-rays, though tempted to for experimentation sake because I didn't want 20 x-rays to have to be done. Now, you may be thinking "yea freakin right you loon" and that's fine, I am perfectly okay with that.  I don't know that I blocked the X-ray with my energy, and I don't know that it wasn't some freaky coincident involving another factor.  I do know that I was sitting very still when she took the X-rays and I do know that our bodies are amazing and miraculous and capable of so much more than we will ever really know.

That being said, you can always doubt, there is still plenty of room for doubt. But like I said, I'm a believer, and when I focus my whole intention on making something happen and that very thing appears to have happened (wouldn't be the first time ;) a part of me can't help but believe that our energy is quite capable of blocking harmful things from our bodies, in ways that science cannot yet explain.  So yes, you are free to believe what you will, as am I, but hopefully, as it did for me, this will inspire you to try to give your body/energy more credit and use your intention to create good things in your life.
