Recipes

People often ask me where I get my recipes.

(Okay not really, but I bet you were thinking of asking)

Well I am going to share with you today, this very minute, the secret that I get them all out of really old books, passed down from generation to generation.

Or... maybe I look them up online. Here are my top 3 recipe finding websites;

Allrecipes.com
This is the one I have been using the longest. I love that you can sort by rating to find the most popular version of a recipe then also look at comments and reviews to find more tips for using that recipe. You file and sort recipes in your "recipe box" It's so convenient! You can add your own customized version of the recipe and even click on "add to shopping list" and all the ingredients will be organized onto a print-ready list.
Recipezaar.com
This one is very similar to the last one, but you will find more recipes for foreign cuisine on this one. I like the advanced search\organization on this a little better. The function that these first 2 have that I don't think the last one has, is changing the number of servings you want. Let's say you want to double the recipe, just type in double the servings and it does the math for you! You can also add your own private notes that are saved for you.
Epicurious.com
I just found this one and it's amazing so far. I can't believe I never knew it existed! It definitely has the most resources including; videos, articles, blog, forums, a food dictionary, party planning tips, etc... and of course tons of recipes. I am very excited to dig in to all the awesomeness of Epicurious.com

Let me know if there are any recipes you want to me try out and review, there are only a few things I'm hesitant on and that's meat (because it's scary) and frying (because I'm so bad at it) but they are areas that I still want to improve!

We have witnesses of how bad at frying you really are!
